The young woman behind it all, Olivia, has dedicated herself to teaching digital literacy through one-on-one interaction. She shared, “I never knew how much a 'little idea' can go once I acted upon it," and that idea is now called Teaching Tech 101. Her favorite memories from events are "Witnessing the seniors beam with joy when connecting with our volunteers as they start understanding the technology in front of them, making the hard work the team, and I put in worth every second." 

During events, she's the fan-favorite tutor to seniors, but behind the scenes, Mika is the workhorse that ensures that all of the volunteers are ready and registered for action at any Teaching Tech 101 event, she shared "We always work together to make a difference in our community, even if it is just to make someone smile," proving her to be one of the leading figures at Teaching Tech 101 and what it stands for.     

When Olivia has a media idea, Penelope executes it. As the media manager, she's been the one behind the camera, capturing the moments between volunteers and seniors at all the Teaching Tech 101 events. When Tech Tuesday was started, she and her team were all over it, turning research into easy, understandable steps for seniors to grasp on our online platforms each week. She's shared, "It's about how we get to impact the seniors' lives, by answering their questions in real time, teaching digital literacy information that lasts." 

She's the friendly face that welcomes seniors through the door, "talking to them before and after we've helped, learning more about their lives," as she's shared while running check-in. Behind the scenes, Abigail keeps records of volunteer and senior participation, while as head researcher, she ensures that every detail is accounted for when delivering the Tech Tuesday research information to the social media team. 

A strong mission deserves a strong foundation, and Kathryn helps provide exactly that. As Teaching Tech 101's treasurer, she oversees the organization's event finances, ensuring we're supported and organized. She shared, "I love getting to connect and give back to the seniors in our community."
